Daily Southeast Region Eggs
Prices are steady. The undertone is steady to fully steady. Supplies are
generally moderate for trading purposes. The Southeast shell egg inventory
is down 2.5 percent when compared to the previous week. Retail and
distributive demand is at times light to moderate. Current offerings are
sufficient. Market activity is slow to moderate. Eastern region breaking
stock floor stocks are moderate to heavy; breaking schedules are full-time
to extended. Light type hen offerings are moderate for the light and
mostly unaggressive demand.
PRICES TO RETAILERS, SALES TO VOLUME BUYERS, USDA GRADE A AND GRADE A,
WHITE EGGS IN CARTONS, CENTS PER DOZEN.
